March 24, 2020Return to Work Preparedness: 5 Ways CFIC Is Transitioning
May 27, 2020On Friday, April 10th at 8 pm, Governor Murphy announced that non-essential construction sites must close in New Jersey. Underneath these new guidelines, we are pleased to announce that CFIC is still open for business and working on current installation and maintenance projects. Our team is following proper protocols to ensure the safety of our employees and clients alike.
CFIC crew members must complete a worker certification form confirming they are safe and healthy before starting work. Through this process we obtain a written confirmation that our staff hasn’t experienced any symptoms of acute respiratory illness within the past 72 hours, that they have not been in close contact (i.e., within 6 feet for more than a few minutes) with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, and finally making sure they have not traveled anywhere that is under a travel advisory or had close contact with anyone who has traveled within the past 14 days. These forms are completed and provided to each project site location to have on file.
Our team of professionals have implemented strict guidelines for the staff to follow that include: a work-from-home policy and social distancing within the workplace and/or installation sites.
Please be aware that our team is available to discuss any new or upcoming projects that need to be budgeted and planned for once statewide stay-at-home orders and business closings are lifted.
